Shimon and Tammar
Shimon and Tammar Rothstein are a husband and wife photography team living and working in New York City. Laurent Gras: My Provence was their second collaboration with chef Laurent Gras.
Shimon and Tammar have received awards for their photography from Communication Arts, International Photography Awards (IPA) and Prix de la Photographie Paris. Their work has been featured in leading magazines worldwide and they have photographed cookbooks for some of the world's most respected chefs, including Jean-Louis Palladin, Marcus Samuelsson, Suzanne Goin and Eric Ripert.
Over the course of two weeks in the studio Shimon and Tammar shot over 10,000 photographs of Laurent Gras, his cuisine, Mitchell Davis and the rest of the team behind the publication of the award-winning cookbook, Laurent Gras: My Provence. A few of the over 500 photos included in the cookbook are shown below.
