    Tangerine Orange Mule

Bright citrus flavors make this a modern cocktail.

    • 3 tangerine segments (peeled)
    • Juice of 1 lime wedge
    • 1 1/2 ounces orange vodka
    • Splash of ginger beer
    • Lime wheel (for garnish)

In a rocks glass, muddle tangerine segments and lime juice. Add orange vodka. Fill glass with crushed ice. Top with ginger beer. Stir with bar spoon until well combined.

    Garnish with a lime wheel.

The name Moscow Mule refers to the taste of vodka with an added “kick” provided by the rich flavors of ginger beer. The Moscow Mule was a marriage of interests and combined effort of Jack Morgan, the owner of the Cock ’n’ Bull Tavern and a producer of ginger beer; John Martin, the president of a spirits company; and Rudolph Kunett, who worked for a division of that same company. The drink was traditionally served in a copper mug.
