    Mary Pickford

Tropical flavors come to life with the fruit of the season.

    • 1 1/2 ounces white rum
    • 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
    • 3/4 ounce grenadine
    • 2 ounces fresh pineapple juice
    • Pineapple spear (for garnish)

To mixing glass, add rum, maraschino liqueur, grenadine, and pineapple juice. Add ice to tin. Shake well. Strain into cocktail glass.

    Garnish with a pineapple spear.

This cocktail was created in 1920 at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, Havana. This refreshing cocktail uses native Cuban ingredients and was named after Mary Pickford, the popular star of silent films who was also known as “America’s Sweetheart” and “Little Mary.”
