  • Fall Infusions

    Fig and Pear Infusion

    Combines the warm flavors and spices of the season.

    • 4 pounds d'Anjou pears (thinly sliced)
    • 3 pints figs (cut in half, with stems removed)
    • 3 cinnamon sticks
    • 10 whole cloves
    • 2 bar spoons pumpkin pie spice
    • 1 750 ml vodka
    • 1 750 ml orange liqueur

    Place figs and pear slices in alternate layers in 3-quart glass infusion jar. Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, and pumpkin pie spice. Pour vodka and orange liqueur over top. Save the liquor bottles. Let rest for 12 days at room temperature. Using a sieve and funnel, strain back into original bottles. Store in refrigerator.
